The opening ceremony would be organised
by the Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan's firm Red Chillies
Entertainment, Sports Minister Madan Mitra told reporters in Kolkata on
Tuesday. Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif
and Priyanka Chopra will perform during the opening ceremony of the
Indian Premier League six to hold at the Salt Lake Stadium here on April
2.
Off late there has been quite a
buzz about Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor starrer to be directed by
Imtiaz Ali but the actress has without doing film with Imtiaz and
Ranbir. Reports suggested that Kat has signed film opposite Ranbir but
the 28 yr old diva denied. It is rumored that Imtiaz would start
shooting with Katrina Kaif and Ranbir after he wraps up with ‘Highway’
starring Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt. Katrina is busy shooting for
‘Dhoom 3’ and later ‘Bang Bang’.
While
several filmmakers have approached her for various projects she chooses
to concentrate on the projects at hand. Kat has not signed any film
with Imtiaz Ali, Katrina Kaif
has recently admitted in an interview that she struggled for three and a
half years in Mumbai before she finally got her big break in Bollywood.
The 28 year old actress mentioned the following whilst being
interviewed by Harper’s Bazaar:
There
were three and a half years where I worked every single day, sometimes
for 16 hours straight. I took taxis and visited advertising agencies to
for self hand over my portfolio. Mumbai is referred to by many as the
heart of Bollywood, since most of the film studios and production houses
are situated there.
